1. Camera Bag

First in the list comes a good camera bag. Without a sturdy and a fittingly chambered piece it gets hard to organize all the contents you are carrying for the photography.
The prime requirements of a quality camera bag are its
  1. padding,
  2. waterproof nature or a rain cover and
  3. number of pockets to accommodate all your belongings
Apart from these, firstly I would prefer a shoulder backpack than a sling one as I want to distribute the weight on both of my shoulders. In that way I can carry my DSLR and its accessories for long hours without the need to change shoulders. Secondly, the weight of the bag should be less, such that it doesn't add to my camera and its equipments. Thirdly, its an added bonus if the bag can hold laptop like the one from COSMUS. Lastly, it shouldn't be too expensive to afford.

Here are some of the top DSLR bags that worth a shot;

2. Tripod

One of the the most important accessory to have if you own a DSLR. The three legged thing has got multiple uses in like;
  1. Steady shots
  2. Horizontally symmetric shots
  3. Long exposure shots
  4. Self timer group shots
These are few that I find really helpful. Photographers cater its use according to their needs.
For a decent tripod it has to be;
  • Strong and sturdy to hold heavy DSLRs
  • Quick locking legs for faster and smoother operation
  • Bubble view levels
  • Lightweight for easy carrying
Here are the to tripods from Amazon that you can check before making a decision;

3.Batteries and Memory cards

One of the shocking scenarios in a photographer's life is when he/she runs out of battery juice or storage space while out on a shooting spree or traveling. Its always advisable to carry an extra battery along with a charger and at least two extra memory cards along with the one inside the camera. In that way you are making yourself secure from the two deadliest nightmares
Moreover if you carry one external SSD along with your laptop then its an added bonus to your checklist.

Here are some of the accessories that you can have a look into;

4. UV/ND Filters

Ultra violet filters help to filter out the UV rays that can damage the sensor when exposed in direct sunlight. While the ND filters or the Neutral Density filters help to add contrast to the picture when you are shooting in broad daylight with too much of exposure to control.

Some of the UV/ND filters to opt for;

5. Cleaning Kit

A cleaning kit really comes helpful when you have returned from a trip and you want your DSLR to be dirt-free. It helps to clean the dust and fingerprints from lenses, LCD and other optics like the sensor. A quality cleaning kit comes with 7 essential items;
  1. Micro-fibre cloth: Its smooth and helps to clean the LCD and lenses without leaving any scratches on them.
  2. Cleaning brush: Its used to dust off the dirt from the lenses.
  3. Lens cleaning liquid: Rather than using soap water that might damage the LCD and the lens optics, this liquid doesn't leave any water stains on the same.
  4. Powerful dust blower: This helps to blow off the dust from the DSLR sensor and the lens optics that is difficult to remove with a normal blower as this sort of cleaning requires more precision.
  5. Optical lens cleaning cloth: When used with the lens cleaning liquid this helps to remove stains and smudges from the LCD and lens optics with better accuracy.
  6. Cotton swabs: These come handy when you need to clean the view finder and also the image sensor of the DSLR as they are soft and smooth and doesn't leave scratches on the optics.
  7. Magic lens-pen: When you see some small dust particles n the lenses and you clean it with your fingertips you actually scratch the lens optics in the process. The lens-pen will help to effectively remove the particles off the lens with some swipes on it.

6. Camera strap

Rather than buying a conventional camera strap its better to buy a sling belt that helps to attach your camera and you can dangle it down through your shoulder making your hands free when you are not using the camera and can instantly slide it up for quick shots. It comes with an extra shoulder pad that reduces the weight on your shoulder when you are carrying heavy DSLR for long hours. Further more due to its ergonomics you can take steady shots handheld even in long exposure without the prior need of a tripod or monopod.

7. Shutter remote

Shutter remote or shutter release button helps to remotely control your DSLR's shutter without disturbing the camera set up. Comes really useful when you have to time-lapse or take long exposures without shaking the camera. It's either wireless or coupled with a wire. You can either set a timer or click manually when you are shooting time lapse for long hours.

Here are two of them, one wired and one wireless;

8. Pop up flash diffuser

Unlike using the hard flash its recommended to use a diffuser along with it. In that way the flash light is equally distributed over the subject and there is no hard light in the picture. Moreover it helps to reduce the background shadow and also the red eye from the subject when fixed at an angle of 45 degrees. Even if you have an external flash you can opt for flash diffuser.

9. Rain cover

A rain cover is always recommended when you are travelling during the monsoons specially to the mountains. In that way you are making sure that your DSLR is protected from the harsh weather conditions and also allowing yourself to capture the scene. It covers the DSLR from all sides along with the lens so that no water leaks into the equipment and disturb your photography experience. So, have one in your travel kit.

10. LCD protector

Lastly, an LCD protector to keep your DSLR screen away from scratches and smudges so that it doesn't ruin the view of your photos when you check after clicking and you get a clear and immersive display. The LCD of DSLRs vary in sizes and shapes, hence I cannot provide a generic LCD protector for all. Its recommended that you check in Amazon to find the best one.

Finally concluding, every equipment up there helps to improve your photography experience in same way or the other and also helps to keep it organised and neat. All these are really important if you are planning to travel places or for your day to day photography. A collection of these 10 best camera accessories will surely prove helpful in the future.
